The 40†through feed machine is ideally suited for continuous production where flatness and surface finish on a group of components is of prime importance.
The machine is constructed from a rigid welded hollow section steel frame, which supports the gearbox, drives motor and worktable and houses the waste tank. Access to the tank if provided is by lift off panels.
The upper part of the machine which controls the throughput of a specific part or parts, consists of a suspended carousel wheel, rotating at a nominal speed of 0.22 rev per min, and is protected by a torque limiting clutch. The carousel ismounted on a welded tubular framework which can be adjusted for height, via a trapezoidal lead screw fitted with a hand wheel, and can be slid out of the working position quickly for plate changes and general maintenance.
The component in-feed and out-feed to the carousel is via 2 integrated flip over pick and place mechanisms which and mounted on independently adjustable plates, which are adjusted vertically to compensate for plate wear.
