8" LSA/LS2 Auto Polisher

  • Model: 8in-lsa-ls2-auto-polisher
Product Description
8

This grinder/polisher allows you to prepare metallographic samples, from grinding to final polishing.. Thanks to the sturdy structure and the powerful motor with a gear-reducer transmission, this machine can work without noise and vibrations while under very heavy operating conditions. The whole structure is built with oven painted steel and it is supported on shock-isolating feet. The work plate is driven by an extremely precise and noiseless gear-reducer. The water hose has a faucet for fine regulation of the water flow. This polisher has a 200mm aluminum work plate which is very easy to remove and replace. The rotation speed of the plate is variable speed 0 to 300 rpm.The automatic preparation system LSA when installed on the LS polisher allows the user to prepare up to 6 samples (d. 30 mm.) simultaneously. A wide range of sample holders accommodate every kind of specimens with different shapes and sizes. The sample holder is coupled to the automatic head via a quick lock shaft. The sample holder is moved by an electric motor with a gear reducer and rotates in the some direction of the work plate. The applied force is supplied by a pneumatic cylinder that also raises the sample holder at the end of the work step; the pressure can be adjusted with a pressure regulator from 2 to 4 bar. Time can be preset with an electronic timer from 1 to 99 min.; the timer stops both the polisher and the automatic system at the end of the preset grinding or polishing step. The automatic polishing head is Central Pressure. This auto polisher can also be used for manual sample preparation.
